Why we built it
The public story around AI can feel far removed from what the tools can actually do in people's hands. Eva and Abhi started The Tinker Pledge to help close that distance through practical, shared experimentation.
The first way we tried to close it was a hands-on workshop in New York. People brought real problems, tried AI loops together, and showed us where the teaching held up and where it needed to change.

Eva is a community builder who brings people together around emerging technology. She leads community at Vapi, serves on the board of Hacker Fund, was an early employee at Notion, and co-founded Cal Hacks at UC Berkeley. Her work asks how new systems can be built so ordinary people benefit.
Product Architect at Auth0, working on what identity looks like for AI-era applications — treating agents as first-class principals alongside users and applications, with their own credentials, lifecycle, and policy. Nearly a decade across OAuth, OIDC, and developer-facing security primitives, plus independent engineering research on the side.
